he Compuware Technical Education Center (TEC) and Testing Services has come together to create a QASolutions Academy. The purpose of this Academy is to provide instructions on Compuware tools to Compuware employees. The tools that will be presented are:

  • QAPlan
  • QADirector
  • QARun - 32 bit
  • QAHiperstation
  • QABuild
  • Statement of Work
  • Xpediter
  • File-AID Batch
  • File-AID Online
  • Abend-AID
  • EcoSNAP
  • File-AID Client/Server
  • Xpediter/SQL

Two curriculums for the QASolutions Academy exist. One curriculum is mainframe based and the other is client/server based. Each academy session lasts from three to four weeks and the curriculums rotate from month to month. Please see the Mainframe Session Schedule or the Client/Server Schedule for the upcoming QASolutions Academy sessions. Feel free to mix and match the dates as you need. The courses do have some dependence on each other, so it is recommended that you take the courses in the order shown.

A basic Skills Test must be completed by all individuals prior to their attendance at the QASolutions Academy. This program has been approved by the committee and submitted by Peggy Fouts. Also included with the program are Instructor's Notes.

There will be a fee associated with the classes. The fee is to cover only the expenses incurred by the TEC while holding the classes.

If enrollment drops below 5, the class will be canceled and the attending branches will be offered the opportunity to reschedule. Determination on whether a class will be held will be made three weeks prior to the class start date.

Each class will have a maximum of 16 participants. These participants will be enrolled on a first come, first enrolled basis. See the How to Register for the QASolutions Academy page for instructions on how to enroll a participant for a class. We will need the name of the participant being enrolled, their employee number and the classes for which they would like to be enrolled.

Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the branch. We can provide names and locations of hotels if necessary.
