CBTs via the Intranet

o take advantage of our current library of CBTs, employees must first contact their Training Coordinators who will issue an ID for the employee to use to access the CBTs.

Here is the latest catalogue of CBTs available over Compuware's intranet. These CBTs were created by the TEC's Courseware Development group using Asymetrix's ToolBook II Assistant CBT Systems application. See below for the Neuron plugin in order to view the CBTs in your browser.

Also, your browser must either be Netscape version 4.0+ or Internet Explorer version 4.0+ or 5.0.

Before accessing the CBTs, you need to update the proxy settings in your browser to include corpcbt0.compuware.com. Use the above update link for instructions on how to update your proxy settings for Netscape 4.0 and Internet Explorer 4.0 and 5.0.

CBT Campus
To access the CBTs, you will need to install the CBT Systems CBTPlayer plugin. ***SPECIAL NOTICE: WE HAVE RECENTLY UPGRADED TO A NEW VERSION OF THE CBT PLAYER - PLEASE INSTALL THE NEW CBTPlayer PLUGIN.***

Please read the CBT Campus Student Guide. It will help you understand what the CBT Campus is and how to use it.

ToolBook II
To view the ToolBook II CBTs in your browser, you will need to install the Asymetrix Neuron 6.5 plugin. Download and save this executable file in a /TEMP folder. The executable file will be named neuron65.exe. Using Explorer, double-click on the file and follow the instructions to install the plug-in.

S.E.R.A.
Compuware Secure Encrypted Remote Access (S.E.R.A.) is a communications facility which allows Compuware employees remote access into the Compuware Intranet. This facility requires Management approval. Here is more information and instructions.
